20+ yrs
Of Outlook & Exchange integration expertise
OEM licensing isn’t new territory for us. In 2009, Implicit released Implicit Sync, a “plug and play” Outlook integration platform built specifically for CRM and SaaS vendors to license and embed in their own products.
It was adopted by many software vendors.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the OEM license apply to source code or executable code only?
The OEM license is executable code only. You continue to own all intellectual properties to your own product and Implicit continues to own all intellectual properties to its products.
Where is the software installed?
Implicit FrontEnd consists of two components:
Implicit FrontEnd Add-in – Installed on either Microsoft 365 or Exchange on-prem. It can be installed through the admin center on corporate accounts or by users on their individual accounts. If installed by an admin, the admin can select the users or groups who are given access to the add-in.
Implicit FrontEnd Desktop App – Works tightly in conjunction with the Outlook add-in and offers features such as calendar and contact sync and auto-email archiving. The desktop app is installed by users directly from the add-in or deployed centrally by administrators using tools such as Microsoft 365 Intune to deploy MSIs to a pre-defined group of Implicit users.
What Outlook platforms are supported?

Do you replace our engineering team, or work alongside them?
We work alongside your engineering team to define what integration is feasible, develop the specifications and implement the API.
Does Implicit have any access to our customers' data?
No. Implicit does not have any access to CRM data. It does not process or store any CRM data on its own servers. All CRM data, including emails, is processed locally by the Implicit software on end users’ desktops between the CRM, Microsoft 365 (or on-premises Exchange), and Outlook. It is never transmitted to or stored by Implicit.
The only data that Implicit processes and stores is licensing-related data, including user email address, CRM user ID, software version, install/update dates and times, and IP address.
How long does it take to launch?
Timeline depends on the scope of integration, CRM’s architecture, available APIs and what changes are required at the application layer to tightly tailor it to your CRM. We will be able to give more accurate estimates once we start the discussion and learn about your CRM and API capacities.
Let's talk about licensing Implicit for your platform.
